[edit] Plot

Link is a young man residing in the village of Ordon. Here he leads a simple life, within a close knit community. One evening he is asked by one of the villagers to take a gift to Hyrule and the day that he is to leave, the village is attacked by a group of Bulbins that kidnap all the children of the village and then summon the Twilight to blanket the land. Link is consequently turned into a wolf after chasing the Bulbins into the Twilight itself and is taken to Hyrule Castle where he meets the imp girl, Midna.

It is after this, and a fateful meeting with Zelda, that he is bequethed with the task of restoring light to the lands of Hyrule and discovering the cause of the Twilight.
