There are many, many rumors circulating regarding The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Below are some of the most common rumors, and what we know regarding them so far.

  • Twilight Princess has been pushed back to a Fall 2006 release.
  • There will be two versions of Twilight Princess; One for GCN and one for the Wii.
  • Link, Ganon, and Zelda are in the game.
  • You are able to name your horse.
  • You will be able to use your sword and other items on the horse, as horesback riding will be a major part of the game.
  • New items, such as the Gale Boomerang and Clawshot, will be included.
  • Animals will play a major role in the gameplay.
  • Gorons are in the game.
  • The Twilight Realm is fully accessible throughout most of the World Map, and is TP's version of such alternate worlds as the Dark World and Future Hyrule.
  • The game will have an indepth battle system, including multiple counterattacks and horseback battles.
  • Midna is Link's shadow in normal Hyrule.
  • Fishing will make a return in the game.
  • The Twilight Realm is actually in full color.
  • Parts of the game will feature orchestrated music.

  • Twilight Princess is coming out only on the Wii, Nintendo's upcoming console.
  • This game takes place after Wind Waker chronologically.
  • Link is a werewolf.
  • The Hyrule explored is the "New Hyrule" that was talked about at the end of The Wind Waker, dozens of years later.
  • This Link is the same Link from The Wind Waker.
  • Midna resides inside your sword in the Hyrule Realm.
  • This Link is the same Link from Ocarina of Time.
  • Twilight Princess is over 70 hours long, and is on two discs.
  • Zelda is a playable character.
  • Tingle is in the game.
  • Fado, the Wind Sage from The Wind Waker, returns.
