Skyloft is a kingdom that sits high above the clouds on a series of floating islands, over top of Hyrule. In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, it is also Link's home, as well as the resting place of the sacred blade -- the Goddess Sword. The people of Skyloft have no clue of the evil attempting to enshroud the land below, including Link. As soon as he learns of the evil below, Link descends into Hyrule, guided by the Skyward Sword, on a quest to rid the land of the evil forces.
