Masks of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

As a child, Link is enlisted to help the Happy Mask Shop keeper spread happiness across Hyrule by selling masks. Each mask is broken down as follows:

Notes: Money Received = The amount of money you get from selling the mask.
Money Returned = The amount of money you give to the shop keeper for lending you the mask.

[edit] Bunny Hood

Description: "With swinging rabbit ears."

Unlock: Return 30 rupees for the Spooky Mask to the Happy Mask Shop. The Bunny hood will become available for borrowing.

Use: Sell to the running man in Hyrule Field. He tends to run around Lon-Lon Ranch, and will only talk to you once he sits down to rest at night. The Bunny Hood has the added bonus of no Stalchild appearing in Hyrule Field at night.

Money Received: Your wallet is filled to its maximum. It is best to have the giant wallet, and to buy as much as you can (so your wallet is empty) before selling this mask.

Money Returned: 50 rupees

Unlock: Unlock the Mask of Truth. You will then be able to borrow this mask.

Use: People will respond differently when you talk to them wearing this mask.

[edit] Keaton Mask

Description: "Keaton stuff is hot, hot hot!"

Unlock: The Keaton Mask is the first mask available. After showing Zelda's letter to the Death Mountain Trail guard in Kakariko village, he will ask you to get a popular mask for his kid. Return to Hyrule Castle Town and enter the Happy Mask Shop, the white building that looks like a mask. Agree to be a happyness sellsmen, and you can borrow the Keaton Mask.

Use: Talk to the guard while wearing it, and he will buy it from you. Return to the Mask Shop to get the latest mask.

Money Received: 15 rupees

Money Returned: 10 rupees

Description: "Mysterious mask to see into other people's minds."

Unlock: Sell the Keaton, Skull, and Spooky masks as well as the Bunny Hood. Once all four masks have been sold, the shopkeeper will loan you the Mask of Truth, and make all other masks free to borrow.

Use: The Mask of Truth allows you to speak to the Gossip Stones. These stones will tell you information and gossip about the people of Hyrule.

Description: "A horned skull mask."

Unlock: Sell the Keaton Mask and return to the Happy Mask Shop. Pay back the 10 rupees, and you will be able to borrow the skull mask.

Use: Sell this mask to the Skull Kid in the Lost Woods, he stays on a tree stump in the first room to the left as you enter the Lost Woods. Also, in the Lost Woods, you will find one room with a grass area and two Business Shrubs in it. Find a hole in the grass and drop down. (Look for the butterflies, they are typically near the hole.) Wear the Skull mask, and a lot of little Dukus will begin dancing around. Talk to their leader on the right side of the cave, and he will increase your Duku Stick carrying capacity by ten. The Skull Mask has the extra benefit of Keese ignoring you while you wear it.

Description: "A sad, wooden mask."

Unlock: Return 20 rupees to the Happy Mask Shop Keeper for the Skull Mask, and the Spooky Mask will be available for borrowing.

Use: Sell to the boy in the graveyard.

Money Returned: 30 rupees
