Magic Beans
From Zelda - Wiki on Neoseeker
Majora's Mask
When you see soft soil, you can use Link to plant these there. After planting the beans, water them with a bottle of water or play the Song of Storms. The beans will grow into a flying plant, which can be used to get further in the game, get heart pieces, and other things.
