Koroks are friendly creatures from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They normally are found in the Forest Haven, which is also the home of the Great Deku Tree. Their bodies appear smooth and wooden, and their faces are concealed by leaves. They vary slightly in color and size, but are always small and green or brown. Every year, a small festival is held, where the Koroks gather to play music and acquire seeds for new trees, which they fly to far away islands and plant to start new forests, using their personal handheld 'leaf propellers'. Many believe that they have evolved from the Kokiris in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. A notable Korok is Makar, cellist for the festival and reincarnated Wind Sage.
