Salvatore's Cannon mini-game is really the only point of interest on the island. Talk to him and agree to play. You must sink five barrels with 10 shots from the cannon. You must aim the cannon both horizontally and vertically to hit the targets. Unfortunately, the only way to get better is to practice. Eventually, you will get a feel for how each movement affects the cannons trajectory. The first time you win the game you receive a Piece of Heart. For the second win, Treasure Chart #17 is your prize. Any subsequent wins yield Orange Rupees.

Spectacle Isle is located in Quadrant C2.

[edit] Star Belt Archipelago

Treasures: None
Sea Treasure: Silver Rupee (via Treasure Chart #27 at Private Oasis)

The Star Belt Archipelago is a collection of seven tall rocks sticking out of the water. The entire archipelago looks like the constellation of Orion when viewed from above. You cannot set foot on any of the rocks, however.

The Star Belt Archipelago is located in Quadrant G3.

[edit] Star Island

Treasures: Piece of Heart
Sea Treasure: Silver Rupee (via Treasure Chart #7 at Windfall Island)

Star Island, like its name suggests, is roughly in the shape of a six-pointed star. Despite its large size, there isn't much to do here. However, bomb the westernmost boulder to reveal a cavern. Drop through and defeat the enemies to be rewarded with a chest. Open it for a Piece of Heart.

Star Island is located in Quadrant B1.

[edit] Stone Watcher Island

Treasures: Triforce Chart #7, Piece of Heart
Sea Treasure: Triforce Shard (via Triforce Chart #3 at Bird's Peak Rock)

Stone Watcher Island is a circular island named for the large stone face perched at the top. This stone face hides a secret that can only be revealed after obtaining the Power Bracelets at Fire Mountain. With the Power Bracelets, lift and throw away the stone head, then drop into the cavern underneath. Enter each room and defeat the enemies inside to unlock the main door. Go through and conduct the Wind's Requiem on the blue symbol for Triforce Chart #7.

Sail up to the lone Sea Platform and kill the enemies waiting on top. Then place bombs above each of the cannons to destroy them. Doing so will yield a chest containing a Piece of Heart.

Stone Watcher Island is located in Quadrant C5.

[edit] Thorned Fairy Island

Treasures: Quiver Upgrade
Sea Treasure: Piece of Heart (via Treasure Chart #5 at Gale Isle)

Thorned Fairy Island is one of five heart-shaped Fairy islands. Each one houses a Great Fairy that will upgrade the carrying capacity of one of your collectibles. Thorned Fairy Island is so named because thorns similar to those in the Forbidden Woods and Horseshoe Island block the entrance to the Great Fairy's spring. Smash the peg with the Skull Hammer to remove them, and enter the cavern to be rewarded with a Quiver Upgrade, which allows you to carry more arrows.

Thorned Fairy Island is located in Quadrant G4.

[edit] Three-Eye Reef

Treasures: Treasure Chart #32
Sea Treasure: Piece of Heart (via Treasure Chart #38 at Windfall Island)

Like all other Reefs, Three-Eye Reef gets its name from the number of pillars within its square outer wall; in this case, three. Sail into the island and destroy every cannon boat and mounted cannon with bombs and/or the Boomerang. Climb to the highest point on the outer wall and glide to the southern pillar for a chest containing Treasure Chart #32.

Three-Eye Reef is located in Quadrant A4.

[edit] Tingle Island

Treasures: Big Octo
Sea Treasure: Silver Rupee (via Treasure Chart #10 at Crescent Moon Island)

Tingle Island is home to Tingle Tower, as well as Tingle himself, and his brothers Ankle and David Jr. If a certain sidequest involving the Tingle Tuner is performed on Outset Island, Knuckle will be present as well. The island is shaped like Tingle's head.

Off the coast of Tingle island, there is a Big Octo. Look for a flock of seagulls and sail into it to initiate battle. Defeat the Big Octo for a Piece of Heart as a reward.

Tingle Island is located in Quadrant C3.

[edit] Tower of the Gods

Treasures: Treasure Charts #6, #30
Sea Treasure: Silver Rupee (via Treasure Chart #14 at Headstone Island)

The Tower of the Gods is a great stone monolith, and also the game's third dungeon. However, it is not present in the initial stages of the game. To make it appear, three pearls must be placed in the three Triangle Islands. Only then will this ancient relic of Hyrule rise from the water.

Inside the dungeon, make your way to the room with the scale on the second floor. Stand on the western one and throw a bomb at the west wall. Proceed inside and conduct the Wind's Requiem on the blue symbol on the floor. Doing so reveals a Chest and also activates the Armos Knights. Defeat the enemies, and open the chest for Treasure Chart #30.

Head to the eastern side of the main room on the first floor, and go through the door on the upper level. Shoot the eye crest with an arrow to open a secret passage with a chest. Claim Treasure Chart #6.

The Tower of the Gods is located in Quadrant E4.

[edit] Two-Eye Reef

Treasures: Treasure Chart #13, Big Octo
Sea Treasure: Triforce Shard (via Triforce Chart #8 at Overlook Island)

Like all other Reefs, Two-Eye Reef gets its name from the number of pillars within its square outer wall; in this case, two. Sail into the island and destroy every cannon boat and mounted cannon with bombs and/or the Boomerang. Climb to the highest point on the outer wall and glide to the southern pillar for a chest containing Treasure Chart #13.

A Big Octo infests the waters near this island. Sail into the flock of seagulls flying near Two-Eye Reef to start a battle with it. Defeating the Big Octo releases a Great Fairy who doubles the amount of magic power you have.

Two-Eye Reef is located in Quadrant D7.

[edit] Western Fairy Island

Treasures: Quiver Upgrade
Sea Treasure: Silver Rupee (via Treasure Chart #8 at Horseshoe Island)

Western Fairy Island is one of five heart-shaped Fairy islands. Each one houses a Great Fairy that will upgrade the carrying capacity of one of your collectibles. Smash the peg next to the entrance of the Great Fairy's spring with the Skull Hammer to lower the flames. Head inside the cavern and the Great Fairy will bestow you with the ability to carry more arrows.

Western Fairy Island is located in Quadrant A3.

[edit] Windfall Island

Treasures: Treasure Charts #2, #7, #18, #23, #24, #29, #31, #33, #38, Piece of Heart x8, Tingle's Chart, IN-credible Chart, Tingle Tuner, Bottle, Picto/Deluxe Picto Box, Magic Armor, Cabana Deed, Hero's Charm
Sea Treasure: Green Rupee (via Treasure Chart #18 at Windfall Island)

Windfall Island, though not the biggest island in the game, definitely has the most going on. The island's main attraction is a large windmill located in the center of town. A populous town also thrives here on the island.

To begin, enter the windmill to find Salvatore, who runs the Squid-Hunt minigame. This game is virtually identical to the game Battleship, only you must find squid instead of ships. There are three squid: three, four, and five squares wide. You get 24 shots to find them all. By winning, you get a Piece of Heart. Your second win nets you Treasure Chart #7, and beating the high score of 20 will reward you with Treasure Chart #23.

On the outermost part of the island, near the large tombstone, enter the door. Step on the switch to free Tingle, who will reward you with Tingle's Chart, a crudely drawn map showing Tingle Island and two places where you can get Wallet Upgrades. He'll also give you the Tingle Tuner, which can be connected to a Game Boy Advance and having a second player play as Tingle to help Link out. Finally, after a certain amount of time has passed, check any mailbox for the IN-credible Chart which shows locations of Triforce Charts and Triforce Shards.

Enter Tingle's cell and navigate the crawlspace inside, avoiding the rat trapdoors. When you get to the end, you will find the Picto Box that Tingle stole, which allows you to take black-and-white Pictographs of anything in the game. Enter Lenzo's Pictography shop, indicated by the building with a camera above it. Accept Lenzo's proposal to become his intern and snap three quality Pictographs according to his instructions. Sail to Forest Haven and capture one of the bright and colorful Forest Fireflies flying near the Great Deku Tree. Bring it to Lenzo, and he will create the Deluxe Picto Box, which allows you to take color pictographs.

Hop on top of the windmill and use the Deku Leaf to glide to the balcony of Lenzo's Pictography Shop. Enter the door and claim Treasure Chart #29 from the chest. Now enter the crawlspace and fall to the first floor. Take a pictograph of Lenzo and the woman talking, without them noticing you. Show this pictograph to the gossiping women near the Potion Shop and they will give you Treasure Chart #24.

Enter the Auction House at night to bid on items. Among the items you can win are a Piece of Heart, Treasure Chart #27 and Treasure Chart #38. Bid smartly to take home the items. If you fail to win the Piece of Heart or the Treasure Charts, they will still be available to you until you win them.

Talk to the boy moping on the steps near the entrance to the town. This is Kamo, and he wants you to take a picture of his favorite thing - something perfectly round and pale. Take a color pictograph of the full moon and show it to him. He rewards you with Treasure Chart #31.

Talk to the lone woman standing outside the Potion Shop. This is Minenco, the same woman you saw talking with Lenzo. She is rather narcissistic, so take a full-body color pictograph of her and show it to her. You'll receive Treasure Chart #33 in return.

Talk to Linda, the woman in the orange dress standing outside the windmill. She wants your help getting her together with Anton, the wandering, green-sweater wearing man. Take a full-body pictograph of her, and show it to Anton, who realizes he can't let her slip away. Play the Song of Passing twice to advance to the next day, then head to the cafe. The couple will be there. Talk to Linda to receive a Piece of Heart as thanks.

After completing the Forsaken Fortress, enter the second floor of the Auction House. Talk to the old man and give him 20 Skull Necklaces. He gives you Treasure Chart #2.

In the Auction House's second floor, talk to Maggie, the girl there. Listen to her story, and take her letter to the nearest postbox. Return to find a Rito postman arguing with the old man, Maggie's father. After a heated argument, leave the Auction House and proceed to the Windmill Cafe. You find the Rito sulking there. Talk to him and agree to give the letter to Maggie. Take the letter and do so. Maggie gives you a Piece of Heart in return.

Zunari will have opened up a stall by this point in the game. However, he only has one item. Buy a Town Flower and head to these islands and follow these steps to trade:

  • Greatfish Isle - Town Flower for Sea Flower
  • Greatfish Isle - Sea Flower for Exotic Flower
  • Bomb Island - Exotic Flower for Sickle Moon Flag
  • Greatfish Isle - Sickle Moon Flag for Fountain Idol
  • Mother and Child Isles - Fountain Idol for Big Sale Flag
  • Greatfish Isle - Big Sale Flag for Hero's Flag
  • Greatfish Isle - Hero's Flag for Postman Statue
  • Mother and Child Isles - Postman Statue for Shop Guru Statue
  • Greatfish Isle - Shop Guru Statue for Piece of Heart

Return to Zunari and he will give you Magic Armor, which protects you from all damage as long as it's active.

Talk to Sam, the man sitting on the park bench near Zunari's shop. He hints that the town is rather bland and in need of joy. Buy as many Town Flowers as you can and set them into the pots around Windfall Island. There are two near the stall, four near Sam's bench, one near the Potion Shop, two on the wooden platform overlooking the Potion Shop, and six on the white stone arch. Return to Sam and he'll give you a Piece of Heart.

At night, talk to the poor girl standing outside the Potion Shop. This is Mila, and when she takes off, follow her, making sure to stay far enough away so that she doesn't see you. If she stops running, hide. Follow her all the way to Zunari's stall, and catch her breaking into the safe. Answer the first option for each of her questions and she will give you a Bottle.

Talk to the group of four kids hanging outside the school. They introduce themselves as the Killer Bees, and want to play a game of Hide and Seek with you. To find them, search in these areas:

  • Behind the large tombstone near Tott, the dancing boy
  • Behind the Bomb shop
  • On the ledge that leads to the large stone arch
  • The tall tree in the beach part of the island (roll into it)

Find all the Killer Bees and they give you a Piece of Heart.

The Killer Bees also mention that their teacher, Miss Marie, loves Joy Pendants. Enter the school and give her 20 to receive the Cabana Deed, which you need to enter the Private Oasis. Give her 40 to receive the Hero's Charm, which allows you to see enemies' and bosses' remaining health.

Climb the back of Windfall's windmill after getting the Fire/Ice Arrow upgrade from Mother and Child Isles. Step on the switch to activate the windmill. Enter the windmill and climb the stairs to the balcony. Get on one of the windmills platforms and ride it to the top. Shoot a Fire Arrow inside the sconce hidden in the lighthouse's rotating light to reignite it. This makes a chest materialize on a small island offshore. Use the Deku Leaf to glide to it from the highest point on the windmill. Inside is a Piece of Heart. Return to the windmill, climb up the stairs and exit to the balcony. Talk to the man there for another Piece of Heart.

Windfall Island is located in Quadrant D2.
