 Skyword Sword
In Skyword Sword, Gorko is the first Goron you encounter when on The Surface, Hyrule's name given by those living on Skyloft. Gorko is being attacked by several Red Bokoblins and is in need of saving. Upon defeating the Bokoblins, Gorko will admit to you being the second of your kind that he has encountered that day, implying that Zelda had been there.
Gorko will soon point out a statue of a bird, landmarks bestowed by the goddess herself. He will explain that he is an archaeologist who is fascinated with the idea of there being a floating island to which the Goddess crafted herself. These statues emit a light when Link approaches and allow him to save or return to Skyloft. Gorko is amazed at the change in stone and demands to know the secrets behind these statues and the rumors about the land in the sky, Skyloft. Ironically, he is speaking to a resident of said island and is unaware of it.
