Faron

Faron is one of the four light spirits of Hyrule. He appears in the Faron woods as a monkey, and is the second light spirit you meet on your journey. Faron is the first light spirit to appear to you while under the influence of the twilight. Faron gives you information about the twilight and tells you about the other two light spirits once you are in your human form again.
