Eastern Hyrule is the second stop in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and the first time the player is turned loose to explore on their own. Like the first chapter, it consists of three stages: The Coast, Village of the Blue Maiden and Eastern Temple. It is in this chapter that Link battles Manhandla, a classic Legend of Zelda boss, at the coast before traveling to the village where the Blue Maiden is originally from. There he learns of the arrival of the Mages, as well as how the local children have been vanishing. By traveling between Light and Dark Worlds he is able to solve the mystery and restore the village to its peaceful setting. Then it's off the Eastern Temple where he learns of the Yellow Maiden's location, and ultimately sets her free by defeating the dungeon boss, Stone Arrghus.
