The Biggoron's Sword is a similar but perfected blade to that of the Giant's Knife, with the key difference being that it never breaks. A large two-handed sword, it can deal great damage but at the same time renders Link incapable of using a shield in tandem due to its size. It's creator is Biggoron, a highly skilled Goron blacksmith. It has appeared in a few titles to date.

Link can acquire the sword in Ocarina of Time by completing the Biggoron's Sword Trading Quest for Biggoron who lives on the peak of Death Mountain. It is the most powerful sword in the game, dealing twice the amount of damage than the Master Sword is capable of.

The trading quest sees Link traveling across Hyrule performing a number of errands to acquire the World's Finest Eye Drops he needs for Biggoron. This is in due to an eruption from Death Mountain which hurt Biggoron's eyes and who cannot help Link forge the Biggoron's Sword until his eyes are restored. When they are, he will take the Broken Goron's Sword and tell Link to wait three days (which can be skipped through via use of the Sun's Song played on the Ocarina.

In the Oracle titles, the player needs to have completed the title and unlocked the ability to play a linked game before they can acquire the Biggoron's Sword. For owners of Ages, in Seasons Link can learn the Elder Secret from the red Goron situated below Biggoron in a cave on Goron Mountain. By taking this secret to the Goron Elder at Rolling Ridge back in Ages, Link will be rewarded with the Biggoron's Sword.

Similarly, for those who own Seasons Link discovers the Biggoron's Secret from the Goron at the present version of Rolling Ridge in Ages which can then be taken to Biggoron on Goron Mountain back in Seasons. He will then reward Link with the sword.

• The Biggoron's Sword is forged from the Broken Goron's Sword. Yet several times in Ocarina of Time, it is stated that the Biggoron's Sword cannot break. This suggests that perhaps the Broken Goron's Sword was made by a blacksmith other than Biggoron. Common theory is that it was made by his younger brother, Medigoron

• Although the strongest sword in the game, in Ocarina of Time it cannot be used to deal the final blow to Ganondorf/Ganon as it is not imbued with the power to repel all evil like the Master Sword is
