Music plays a key part in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Link receives two ocarinas in the game, the Fairy Ocarina and the Ocarina of Time. Link can play many songs on his Ocarinas, and each one will perform a different, magical task. You play your Ocarina by using the C buttons and the A button.

How to play it: Left-Up-Right-Left-Up-Right
Use: Solves puzzles and opens gateways throughout the land of Hyrule.
How to Get it: Once you’ve sneaked past all the guards of Hyrule Castle Courtyard and have talked to Zelda, Impa will teach you this song. (Young Link)

How to play it: Up-Left-Right-Up-Left-Right
Use: Calls your horse, Epona.
How to Get it: Once Malon has returned to LonLon Ranch talk to her and she will teach you it. (Young Link)

Use: Let’s you talk to Saria, no matter where you are.

How to play it: N/A
Use: In parts of dungeons you can play the Scarecrow’s Song and it will make scarecrows appear that create a shortcut. To go across this shortcut, use your hookshot.
How to Get it: As Young Link talk to the scarecrow that is on the shore of Lake Hylia, conduct a song for him and memorize it. Then as Adult Link, play it for him again.
