In February 2003, as a promotional offering for Zelda fans who pre ordered The Wind Waker, Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Master Quest) for GameCube as a pre order bonus. The game offered two adventures - one being the original Ocarina of Time game, and the other being Ocarina of Time (Master Quest), a game almost identical to Ocarina of Time but with revamped dungeons, offering a fresh new challenge even for the most experienced gamers.

Background
Master Quest was originally made for the N64 Disk Drive (DD), and was released under the title Ura Zelda in Japan. It was designed as the "ultimate Zelda challenge". The N64 DD was an add-on for the Nintendo 64 which used disks rather than cartridges, in Nintendo's attempt to attract more flexibility for third party companies. However, the N64 DD was never that successful in Japan, and it never saw a US release. Thusly, Ura Zelda was locked away in the Nintendo vault for several years. With the release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in March 2003, Nintendo rereleased Ura Zelda for the Nintendo GameCube in the United States under the title Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. The game was a promotional offering for everyone who had pre ordered The Wind Waker in February 2003, and was immensely popular amongst those lucky enough to obtain it.
Changes
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time: Master Quest, is actually quite similar to the original Ocarina of Time. The world map, storyline, bosses, enemies, and events were all the same. However, all of the dungeons were completely rearranged, with more puzzles, enemies, and challenges. The dungeon Golden Skultullas were also placed in new areas to further this. However, everything outside of the dungeons remains the same as it was in the original Ocarina (and with the same level of difficulty), giving members a completely new look at Ocarina of Time with the new dungeons, but allowing the game to still be the way it was originally designed outside of the dungeons.
